“Invitations”

In tonight’s episode. Matthew struggles to reconcile his logical mind with the extraordinary events he witnesses. Jesus invites him to join the disciples, shocking them due to Matthew's role as a tax collector. Jesus rebukes their prejudice, highlighting his call to the overlooked.

Nicodemus, a respected religious leader, secretly seeks Jesus at night. Intrigued by his miracles, he engages in a deep conversation about God's kingdom and the need to be "born again." Jesus contrasts his mission of salvation with Nicodemus's expectation of a political messiah, leaving Nicodemus contemplative about his beliefs.
