Hello Families,

We can't believe summer is already coming to an end! It has been such a fun summer and we are so thankful for these past few months!

We are kicking off September with the  Big Deal, “Wild and Wonderful! God Values Me!” Kids will learn about the wild, wonderful, and unique ways God designed them and how His design shows they are valued by Him. We will teach kids that God made them with worth, He celebrates them, He made them on purpose, and He sent Jesus for them.

On September 6, kids will learn about the story of Jesus and the children. One day several people brought their children to Jesus, asking Him to bless them. When Jesus’s disciples tried to keep the children away, Jesus rebuked them and shared that the kingdom of God belongs to them. Kids can know that in the same way Jesus welcomed the children in the Bible story, God welcomes all of us because He made us with worth.

Student Celebration Sunday, August 30:

This Sunday is Student Celebration Sunday, where we will be highlighting all that has been happening throughout the summer, including Serve and Summer camps. There will be no Sunday school this week, it will be a Family Service.

Following the service, we will be having our Family Ministry BBQ at the park near the curling center. The whole family is invited! We would love for you to join us for some food, fun, and time together as we celebrate an amazing summer together!

Please RSVP using the link below so we can make sure we have enough food for everyone.

Please also bring a picnic mat or lawn chair! There are a few tables but won't be enough for everyone!

New Kids’ Classes starting September 6

On Sunday, September 6, our kids will officially be moving into their new classes! Here’s the breakdown for the new school year:

• Blueberries: Ages 1–3
• Kiwis: Ages 4–5
• Plums: Grades 1–2
• Peaches: Grades 3–4
• Watermelons: Grades 5–6

We’ve already moved the kids into their new classes in our system. If you have any questions or notice an error with the class your child has been placed in, please let us know! We’re happy to make any updates needed.

We’re really looking forward to all that September has ahead! We’re so grateful to get to be part of your family’s journey and to walk alongside you as your kids grow in their faith. We are praying for you all as your kids head into a new school year.
