Distress is an unavoidable part of life. Yet the mounting pressures of our world—economic instability, political tension, and deep social division—can leave us uneasy and without hope. So, what do we do?

Writing to the churches in Rome, who were living under similar layers of distress, the Apostle Paul urged them to consider who built the road they travelled, for the one who paves the path determines its destination. Though the Roman Empire had constructed countless roads and claimed to provide peace along them, Paul reminded believers that there is only one path open to all, one road which can lead to everlasting peace and enduring hope.
