“What’s going to happen?” With horrendous political discourse, a provincial separation movement, an opioid epidemic, “wars” that are not wars, rising costs, increased homelessness, and the continuing outworking of what Jonathan Haidt identified as the anxious generation, “what’s going to happen?” is a very pertinent question. But what if we could ask a better one? And what if that question was not only answerable but the answer was filled with hope, satisfaction, and meaning? Well we can and we will, this Sunday, as we examine the signs of the times both today and on that first Palm Sunday.
