1212 Ministries Summer Camp!
KIDS CAMP
WEEK 1 - July 28-August 1, 2025

Registration Opens March 11, 2025 @9am
Details: This year camp is called “Barbaloot Bootcamp”. Our one week of full-day camp dives into Dr. Seuss’s world of the Lorax as we talk about God’s creation and His love of everything He created which includes You and Me!
Location: 1212 1 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M 2S3
Time: 9 AM to 4 PM (Optional pre-care 8-9 am or post-care 4-5:00 pm)
Age: For kids going into Grade 1 to Grade 6
Cost: $130 per child. This includes morning and afternoon snacks (please send your child with a nut-free lunch and waterbottle). There is a $20 non-refundable cancellation fee included in the registration for cancellations at any time.
Payment: Please send payment upon registration to secure your spot.
This year, summer camps are being run by 1212 Ministries (GoodTree Church and Blessed Christian Church.) Payments will be made and processed through GoodTree Church.
Payment Options:
The preferred payment option is via E-Transfer to “finance@goodtree.ca”
Cheque or cash to “Crescent Heights Baptist Church” through the offering box on Sundays is also accepted .
PLEASE MAKE A NOTE ON ALL PAYMENT OPTIONS “1212 Summer CAMP REGISTRATION” with your childs name.
Please note that registration is limited and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each camp is capped at 50 kids. Payment is necessary to secure your spot.
Payment must be made within one week of registration to confirm your child’s spot in camp. A “confirmation of payment” email will go out within 2 business days of your payment.

TODDLER CAMP

This is a new camp that we are running this year. We are going to have age appropriate crafts and activities followed by quiet time/rest in the afternoon.
Location: 1212 1 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M 2S3

Age: For kids who are going into kindergarten or younger who are also potty trained during the day.

VOLUNTEER YOUTH CAMP
July 21-23, 2025 - Overnight at the CHurch
Registration Opens March 18, 2025 @9AM
Details: After the success of last years volunteer youth camp we have decided to run it again! This overnight youth summer camp is focused on teaching, training and equipping youth to become the best leaders they can be. It will be a fun filled 3 day, 2 night camp at the church with worship, lessons, activities, games and meals! This year we will start with formal volunteer training on Monday evening from 5-7pm to dive into our youth camp. We love our volunteers so much and we are excited for them to come hang out with friends, learn about God and enjoy a camp designed for them!

Drop Off: July 21- 4:00PM
Pick Up: July 23 - 1:00PM
Who: For youth going into Grade 7 to Grade 12 who are also volunteering for at least one week of 1212 Summer Camps.
Volunteering: This year volunteering will be capped at 2 weeks/volunteer. You may choose which of the 3 weeks you would like to help with. You may only register for youth camp if you are participating in at least one week of elementary or toddler camp.
Cost: $75 per youth - includes: 6 meals + snacks, activities and stay. A $20 non-refundable cancellation fee is included in the $75 dollar registration.

Time: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM for any of the above weeks. Whether you are able to volunteer for just a couple hours here and there or commit to a full week, we want you!
Age: For volunteers of all ages, grade 7 to age 70+ is welcome!
Dates: The weeks of camp are seen above. You may register for up to two weeks of camp. If you are interested in volunteering for a third, after registering, you may email 1212summercamps@gmail.com to seek permission. Mandatory volunteer training will be July 21st from 5-7pm at the church building. It is also recommended to participate in the volunteer youth camp if you are in grade 7-12. This will help in training and equipping you to be ready for the best week(s) of summer!

(Elementary) On Friday the camp will head to rotary splash park for time outside. There is both a water park and a dry park. If your child would like to be in the water please pack them swim attire.
(Toddler) We will be going to a playground near by and having a picnic.
In the afternoon we also serve pizza to everyone a camp from Sal’s Pizza so no need to packyour child a lunch

Youth will work together to make and serve the meals to each other. Some of the food will also be prepared by volunteers in advance

Guys and Girls will be separated with adult supervisor in each room. The youth will be sleeping on the floor in with whatever sleeping mat they choose to bring. They will also need to bring a pillow, blanket, sleeping bad and anything else that would make them comfortable.
