If you are interested in helping out with the various ministries we have going on here at the new church, please let us know! Volunteer opportunities span from GoodFruit Children’s Ministry, Worship, Sound & Media and more! Get in touch with us at info@goodtree.ca.

Sunday Involvement

  • Coffee Ministry | Prepare and serve coffee and toast on Sunday morning 9-10.a.m.

  • Bring Refreshments to be shared after service. They can be homemade or purchased! (please consider nut allergies when providing food)

  • Set up and Clean up refreshment | Set up the refreshment table with plates, napkins, cutlery, and cups (anything that is needed to make eating easy for your refreshments). These can be found in the church kitchen and fellowship hall cupboards. Clean up following refreshments (You may ask someone else to help with clean-up if you are unable to stay later)

  • Greeting

  • Scripture reading

  • Prayer

  • Sound

  • ProPresenter

  • Camera operation

  • Communion preparation and cleaning

  • Worship | Calling all musicians and singers

  • Children’s Ministry | provide music or lead sunday school

  • Teller

  • Events Coordinators

Sunday service offers several opportunities to serve and collaborate, fostering meaningful relationships. A collective effort can simplify tasks and facilitate an efficient rotation for everyone. By contributing your time and talents, you provide invaluable support to the new church community.

There is a master schedule where all of the Sunday information and scheduling is stored. Those who serve will be given access to the schedule to manage their time and positions. Also, a weekly e-mail is sent out to all willing service participants to let people know who is serving and if there is anywhere help is needed.

Areas to serve are listed below, if you are interested in serving please click the appropriate box for each area. Click more information for more details. Please note, that training and experienced people are available in each area to help if you would like to learn a new skill.
