Sunday Service: 3pm at 1212 1 Street NW

WORSHIP

The worship team is comprised of people from many backgrounds and skill levels. It is not an exclusive group for only those with strong musical gifts, but is a place for those who wish to develop their musical ability for the glory of God. The worship team meets Tuesday evenings to prepare and practice in order to lead the people of God in the worship of Him.

Children’s ministry

The children’s ministry is led by a group of people within the church community who are passionate about God and teaching our future generation of leaders. Currently, the children’s service is held during the main worship where they worship God through songs, crafts and times of teaching times. Two classes are available: Toddler Class (6 months to 4 years) and Sunday School (K-Grade 6).

welcoming Team

Each Sunday our Welcoming Team will probably be the first point of contact upon entering the building. They can guide and direct people towards the various things that are happening on a given Sunday as well as other events that occur throughout the week.

Fellowship & Hospitality

Each Sunday following service we gather together for fellowship. This vital times gives us opportunity to greet new people and spend time with one another apart from the busyness of the week. The Fellowship-Hospitality team ensures that we have food and drinks to share as well as planning pot luck dinners, new comer dinners and other “food related” events.

sound and media Team

As a part of Sunday worship and many of our events there is a component of communication done via various forms of media. The Sound and Media Team works to communicate the kingdom of God through this media, and support other ministries such as the Worship Team via the proper equipment.

education team (bible studies)

Both Pastor John and Pastor Tyler are passionate about teaching. They currently teach courses at Alberta Bible College.  We can experience God in different ways, but having an understanding and strong foundation in the inspired word of God is essential to growing in faith and navigating life.  Outside of the Sunday sermons, we intentionally learn through seminars and retreats.  Join us for the next series through the Old Testament during the month of May, held online and in person. https://www.gotomeet.me/goodtree
